Desire | Successful | Key Values (Insights)

Desire

"The starting point of all achievement is desire. Keep this constantly in mind. Weak desires bring weak results, just as a small fire makes a small amount of heat."

Napoleon Hill
1883-1970, Author of Think and Grow Rich

Successful

"Often the difference between a successful person and a failure is not one has better abilities or ideas, but the courage that one has to bet on one's ideas, to take a calculated risk - and to act."

Maxwell Maltz
1899-1975, Author of Psyco-Cybernetics

Key Values

"The first person you are accountable to is yourself. It's imperative that you know what your key values are, because they set the standards for how you will do business."

Today | Commitment | Hard Master (Insights)

Today

"Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it."

Julius Henry "Groucho" Marx

1890-1977, Comedian and Film Star

Commitment

"The moment you commit and quit holding back, all sorts of unforeseen incidents, meetings and material assistance, will rise up to help you. The simple act of commitment is a powerful magnet for help."

Napoleon Hill

1883-1970, Author of Think And Grow Rich

Hard Master

"Hold yourself responsible for a higher standard than anybody else expects of you. Never excuse yourself. Never pity yourself. Be a hard master to yourself - and be lenient to everybody else."

Henry Ward Beecher

1813-1887, Clergyman and Abolitionist
